Guidelines for Authors

  • Avoid very specialised, technical, mundane and textbookish topics.
  • Write in a popular style, easily understandable and of interest for the average high school student.
  • You may submit full-length articles of about 3500 words, short features of up to 1500 words, news reports of about 1000 words, book reviews, reports, etc.
  • The Editor reserves the right to include a submitted write-up as a full-length article, short feature, news item, etc.
  • The Editor reserves the right to reject even invited articles.
  • Articles not found suitable are sent back immediately. Information is conveyed about accepted articles. However, acceptance does not guarantee immediate publication.
  • Plagiarism is not acceptable. Even after acceptance of an article if it is found to have been plagiarised, it will be sent back. Authors may even be blacklisted.
  • It is the author's responsibility to ensure the validity, authenticity and originality of the submission. Authors are solely accountable for their content/information/data. Illustrations and photographs accompanying submissions should be copyright-free/permitted.
  • Articles should carry a Self-declaration stating that the submission is original, authentic and has not been published anywhere else.
  • All articles must clearly include the details - Name, Address, a brief biodata, and Email.
