Little is known about the mysterious saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis), often known as the Asian unicorn. These infrequently observed species are native to the Annamite Range in Vietnam and Laos. It is already critically endangered because there are none in captivity. As per estimate, only four instances of saola in the wild have been conclusively documented by scientists yet.
